- Please note that solid tires are smaller than tubeless tires of the same size. This is because solid tires need to be stretched during installation to ensure that they fit tightly on the wheel hub after installation and do not fall off the wheel hub during driving. This is the characteristic of solid tires and is why solid tires of the same size appear smaller than tubeless tires.

STEP 1
Heat softening tires
- Before installation, you need to put the solid tire in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes to soften it. Then the tire will become more flexible and malleable, making it easier to bend and mount.
PLEASE NOTE
- This is the key to easy installation, and of course you can also use a microwave for this purpose.
STEP 2
Add soapy water or Vaseline
- Cover the rim and the inside of the tire with soapy water or Vaseline. This will make the solid tire slide more easily in the rim.
ATTENTION
- Please avoid using gasoline or lubricating oil, otherwise the tire will be damaged. It is also dangerous to use greasy or oily material. In case of emergency braking, the tire may slip and rotate on the wheel.
STEP 3
Confirm direction
- Check the rotation direction of the tire before mounting it. The lines of the tire must face the front of the scooter. This is important because the beads of the tire are designed to properly drain water when you ride on wet surfaces.
FRIENDLY TIPS
- If you install them upside down, you will lose grip and increase the risk of slipping.
STEP 4
Install with tire lever
- Place the rim on the ground and place the tire on the rim. Place the sides of the rim on the inside of the tire. Then place both feet on the edge to prevent slipping. Slide the tire lever between the rim and tire until the smooth tire slides up and sits in the rim.
